In my own journey,
shame touched my relationship with my body,
my history, belonging, visibility, and power.
Through my work with plant medicines,
such as Bobinsana and Ayahuasca,
and personal development and coaching,
I came into contact with the conditioning I had been carrying.
What I experienced as “purging the patriarchy”
became a profound remembrance of myself as a woman, medicine woman, and priestess.
I began recognizing the medicine moving through my hands, songs, teachings, and leadership.
That remembrance became part of the foundation of Santa Terra Ministry, which I birthed as I experienced liberation from the witch wound and religious,
patriarchal conditioning.
It is also why I coach and mentor creative leaders who are ready to be known for their medicine and magic.

“Why is it so hard for me to speak up, ask for what I need, speak in public—or even sing?”
You have probably heard of the witch wound and wondered,
“Could that be part of what I am experiencing?”
Through an ancestral and metaphysical lens, the witch wound is an archetypal, collective wound around expressing our knowing, gifts, truth, and power.
Magical men may recognize themselves through what some call the wizard wound.
Many of us feel a deep connection to Spirit, the Earth, and our direct relationship with the Divine.
Histories of colonization, religious persecution, and patriarchal control form part of the context through which we explore the suppression of spiritual practices and ways of knowing outside the dominant order.
Whose voice gets to matter?
Who gets to define the sacred?
What happens when you claim your own knowing?
Those questions can feel deeply personal.
We may encounter the echoes through family stories, inherited beliefs, relationships, and bodily responses. Research also explores whether some effects of adversity can travel across generations through epigenetic processes that influence how DNA is expressed.
The pattern can begin close to home.
Imagine your grandmother was pressured to marry young because it would provide security for her family.
She lived with a domineering older husband who gave little room to her opinions, needs, or desires. Speaking up brought conflict. Obedience helped her get through the day.
Her children, whether male or female, might learn:
“To stay safe and loved, I must stay quiet.”
Or they might learn from the person holding power:
“Overriding another person's no, needs, or boundaries is how you get what you want.”
One learns to expect obedience. Another learns to surrender their voice. Sometimes the same person carries both patterns into different relationships.
Generations later, those lessons can influence how we love, work, lead, and express ourselves.
And it can take a modern—or metaphysical—form.
You feel an intense fear of speaking about religion, politics, or your spiritual beliefs that you cannot readily explain.
Within the spiritual framework of the witch wound, you might explore that fear through ancestral karma, past-life experiences, unspoken energetic contracts, or vows of silence.
Or you have experienced public shaming, exclusion, or being “cancelled” after provoking a strong reaction.
You begin to anticipate:
“If I share my truth, I could lose my community, my livelihood, or my belonging.”
For some of our ancestors, silence was tied to survival.
Today, we can work toward relationships and communities where we listen to feedback, take responsibility where needed, and still retain our perspective and dignity.
This masterclass explores those layers—including the subconscious fear of rejection that can lead us to silence ourselves before anyone else even responds.
