Together we will explore what it means to live in ritual ceremony and sacred embodiment - in deep connection to our bodies, the land, our community, our purpose and the Divine.

During this retreat, we will visit the local towns around Lake Atitlan, exploring local cuisine, Ecstatic Dance, Kirtan, a local Cacao Farm, native bird sanctuary, and local Mayan Medicine Ceremony.

If you decide you want to join us for the pilgrimage extension, there will be an opportunity to travel to Chichicastengango, to visit the best artisanal markets, and Mayan medicine men in Guatemala. And if you decide to stay for part 3, you will have the opportunity to visit the Ancient Mayan Temple of Tikal and more.
 
Every day we will practice yoga together, and explore different themes around the Elemental Medicine Wheel, and the Mayan Calendar for bringing more harmony to our body, the Earth, and our life.

Carla Jannette Gonzalez-Guerra is a Ritual Artist, Transformational Healer,

Teacher and student of life, bridging the world of Yoga, Tantra, Chakra Psychology,

Shamanism, Plant Medicine*, and Divine Feminine Spirituality. Carla believes that

everyone has the ability to heal themselves, and that true healing comes from within.

Carla facilitates Plant and Earth Medicine Journeys like Kambo, Cacao, and other

sacred entheogens. She is also a medicine music and Kirtan singer, and leads 

numerous transformational retreats a year in the USA, MEXICO, GUATEMALA, and

PERU.

Carla started her healer’s journey when she was in college at

UCSD - University of California, San Diego, studying clinical psychology.

Soon after completing her degree in 2011, she began traveling abroad and she 

completed her first 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in Ashtanga Yoga, at 

the Himalaya Yoga Valley Center in Goa, India.

In 2015, Carla decided to embody the path of a healer more deeply and was initiated

into the path of Reiki. Shortly after she started practicing Kundalini, Tantra and

Cacao plant medicine ceremonies. Her new-found passion for ritual ceremony,

cacao and yoga led her to Lake Atitlan where she completed her 300 HR YTT in

Shamanic Yoga, in 2016 at the Mystical Yoga Farm, and since then

has continued her own self study under numerous shamanic guides and

Indigenous teachers.

It is her mission to teach, guide, and empower others in the Art of Healing,

Ritual Ceremony, Creative Expression, and Facilitation. Carla's work honors and bridges

the traditional with the (r)evolution; where she continues to be a passionate teacher

of yoga, meditation, sacred ritual arts, chakra psychology, and cacao plant medicine.

Enjoly Mar is the founder of Camino Jaguar - Jaguar Journey Retreat.

She will be accompanying us throughout the retreat to activate and awaken

jaguar spiritual embodiment within you.  She will also serve as an additional

translator and space holder throughout the retreat.

Enjoly guides others using several modalities learned from the past 13 years

of traveling and direct experience with elders of her own

APACHE , MEXICA, and MAYAN roots. She has also done much work to reclaim

her cultural traditions and practices of Southern Spain and Guatemala,

studying and practicing with teachers in the ritual art of dance, Cacao, and Magic.

Her intention is to create safe spaces that are conducive to awakening and

moving energy and emotions. She also is a Shadow work guide, and provides

spaces for transformation, healing, and self-empowerment, so that one may

better serve their own life and their communities.

During the Cacao Immersion Retreat, she will be sharing her

personal transformational experience, called Jaguar Journey.

A shamanic journey where you will be guided to meet yourself and inner

jaguar in a deeper way. Enjoly is an incredible ritual artist and medicine woman,

and we are lucky to have her share with us.

Anahata, aka Anna Simone Combi, is a medicine musician,

singer-songwriter, guitar, piano, drums, world instrumentalist. She is also a herbalist,

medicine maker and permaculture teacher, designer and gardener. 

 

Anahata is also an ecstatic dance DJ and somatic facilitator of

contact dance, embodiment practices; and is a certified yoga teacher of

Hatha Vinyasa flow and Pranassage bodywork-Thai yoga massage.

​

Anahata will be weaving her medicine music, herbalism, and permaculture codes 

throughout our time together. She will be teaching about Cacao, how it grows, and its

social and environmental impact. She will also be curating beautiful experiences for 

us to get into our body, and our creative and vocal expression.
