Hold on tight! Can you feel the energy building as we approach tonight’s full moon?
The moon is in Capricorn, and the sun in Cancer. Capricorn’s energy is masculine, steadfast, he is the mountain goat, the patriarch. Cancer, represents the mother, the matriarch, she rules the home, our emotions, and the moon.
As the dance of duality and opposition play out in the night sky, how is this affecting your personal life and evolution? These two energies can work together to create more balance, harmony and abundance, but when out of alignment, they wreck havoc on one another. Cancer’s emotional self can find it hard to stand up head to head against Capricorn’s stubborn goat.
A recipe for transformation, or disaster. The pluto conjunction is highlighting our shadow wounds and projections, all that keep us from creating the nurturing home, financial abundance, or relationship that we truly desire to come home to. Thank you father moon, for your illuminating truth.
And Father Moon it is indeed, because tonight we also celebrate Guru Purnima — the Hindu holiday in which they celebrate their guru or teacher. Guru Purmina is the “sacred day marks the first transmission of the yogic sciences from Shiva — the Adiyogi or first yogi — to his first disciples.” “The word “Guru” in Sanskrit is translated as “dispeller of darkness.” A Guru dispels the seeker’s ignorance, allowing him to experience the source of creation within. The day of Guru Purnima is traditionally the time when seekers offer the Guru their gratitude and receive his blessings. May this holiday be a reminder to be grateful for our teachers, and our spiritual practices, that which helps us attain more peace and enlightenment. Even the moon can be our guru, as it’s light brings the illumination of deeper truth, the pretty and the ugly.
Many people are on the verge of completely shifting their lifestyle right now. There’s a lot people starting new jobs, moving, leaving relationships, people, places, things behind. And yet, there is still some resistance and doubt in the air. If might feel like this because there are multiple timelines playing out right now. My guides have been showing me how old timelines are presently playing out in this current reality. It’s as if the universe is testing us to see if we have truly evolved as much as we think we have, or to see if we are finally ready to, once and for all. We can choose to accept the challenge, the mirror, or move away. Perhaps this is the tough love we need to push us through the door.
